2.1 Who can use it
RV Folks is written for readers in the United States. You must be at least 16 years old to use the site or subscribe to the newsletter. If you use the site from outside the United States, you are responsible for following your local laws.
2.2 Accepting these Terms
By visiting or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
2.3 What we ask of you
When you use RV Folks, please don’t:
- Break the law or use the site to harm others.
- Interfere with the site. That includes attempting to hack it, overload it, or bypass its security.
- Scrape or copy at scale. Don’t use bots or automated tools to copy large parts of the site without our written permission.

3. General information only
Everything on RV Folks is general information to help RVers plan. It is not professional advice. Please read our Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms, before you rely on anything on the site.
RVing, towing, driving and vehicle maintenance involve real risks. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety.
4. Tools and calculators
Our calculators give estimates based on the numbers you enter and standard formulas. Results are for planning only. They don’t replace your vehicle’s owner’s manual, the manufacturer’s official ratings, posted road signs, or advice from a qualified professional.
We work to keep the tools accurate, but we can’t promise they are free of errors or right for your situation. Always double-check important figures, such as tow ratings, payload and clearances, before you travel.
5. Our content and ownership
5.1 What belongs to us
The articles, text, tools, design, logo and other material on RV Folks belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.

You may not republish, sell, or commercially use our content, or present it as your own, without our written permission. To ask permission, email contact@rvfolks.com.
6. Images and illustrations
The images in our articles are AI-generated illustrations that show the topic, such as a person repairing an RV. They are not photographs of real events or real people. When an article is about a specific real place, we use real photographs of it. See our Disclaimer for more.
Brand names, product names and logos on RV Folks belong to their owners. We mention them to describe products, and it does not mean the owners endorse us or are connected with us.
7. Newsletter
When you subscribe, you agree to receive our newsletter by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. Details about what we send and how we handle your information are in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our Facebook Page and community
We run an RV Folks Page on Facebook. Posting and commenting there is governed by Facebook’s own terms and rules, in addition to these Terms.
We expect people to be respectful and helpful. We may hide or delete comments, or block people who spam, harass others or break the rules. Comments and posts from community members are their own opinions. They are not advice from RV Folks, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Advertising and affiliate links
RV Folks may earn money from advertising and affiliate links. If you buy through an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains how this works. Ads and products shown on the site are not guaranteed or endorsed by us, and your dealings with advertisers and sellers are only between you and them.
11. Links to other websites
RV Folks links to other websites, such as retailers, campgrounds and manufacturers. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, prices or practices. Prices and availability can change at any time.

14. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, RV Folks and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for any loss of profit, income, data or use, arising from your use of the site, its content or its tools, or from anything you do or don’t do based on them. This includes damage to vehicles or property, travel costs and delays.
